Big Bold Magnolias – No Line Coloring

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with Inkon3’s new release with the amazing stamp set named, Big Bold Magnolias along with the coordinating dies. If you didn’t hop along with us during our blog hop, you definitely should check it out because there have been some fabulous projects using this set!

I previously had created two other cards using this set, but I just had to pull it out again to create another one. This time, I decided to take on some no-line coloring. Inkon3 has the fabulous Fadeout ink for no-line coloring. To start, I went ahead and stamped out all the images from the set, except for the largest magnolia. The last two projects, I had focused on the largest one so this time, I wanted to pay attention to the rest of the images from the set.

Once I had stamped them out, I went in with some purple copic markers. For me, it’s easiest to lay down the darkest color first so I know where all the shadows lay. I’ll then work out to my lightest color.

I tend to fussy cut a lot but for no-line coloring images, I prefer using the coordinating dies. It leaves that really nice white border so it really makes the images pop.

For the background, I just did a few washes of purple watercolor. Nothing very fancy at all. I did keep the watercolor at the bottom left of the card where I have the flowers laid out. Before glueing my flowers down, I added some gold splatter.

I wanted to tie in my gold splatter, so I decided to use the Juicy ink to cover a piece of white cardstock and added Gold Rush embossing powder. By doing this, I could use the standalone “Beautiful” sentiment from Heels to you die set. For the coordinating sentiment, I stamped the “You’re” with Juicy ink and heat embossed with the Gold Rush embossing powder so everything matched up.

I hope you enjoyed this card I shared today and make sure to pick up your set too! This is so gorgeous and so fun to color!

GinaK & Inkon3 Collaboration

Welcome to the Gina K. Designs & Inkon3 Collaboration Blog Hop. It’s incredible when two stamp companies can come together to be creative with each other’s products as well as supportive of each other! We hope you enjoy all the inspiration along the way with everyone’s projects.

We are giving away a $50 Gina K. Designs or $50 Inkon3 gift card to two lucky winners. To enter, leave a comment on each blog in the hop! We will be picking random winners from the comments and they will be announced on each company’s respective blog on Monday, July 8, 2019.

For this blog hop, I decided that since this was a collaborative effort, I really wanted to use both company’s products in both cards.

For my first card, I decided to go with a really simple card. I used the Gina K. Designs’ Vibrant Blooms to create a very subtle background by stamping one of the leafy images all over using Inkon3’s Juicy Clear Embossing and Watermark ink on light blue cardstock.

I also went ahead and used one of the Florals from the Gina K. Designs Vibrant Blooms stamp set and combined it with the perfume bottle in Inkon3’s Bad & Boujee stamp set. I’m loving how cute this little bottle is!

The Inkon3’s Bad & Boujee stamp set also has coordinating dies, which have actually have large sentiments included. I decided to use Boujee for the sentiment. Since the background is busy yet subtle, I used a strip of vellum and heat embossed using the Juicy Clear Embossing and Watermark ink.

To finish this card off, I added a few of the smaller diamonds around the sentiment along with some fun gems to add to the Boujee vibe. I love how clean and simple this card turned out to be.

For my second card, I decided to create a scene card. It’s one of the type of cards that require more time involved but totally worth it!

Again, I used the florals from Gina K. Designs Vibrant Blooms stamp set and combined it with the perfume bottle in Inkon3’s Bad & Boujee stamp set. I used a few lines to create a scene and for the table, I used Gina K. Designs’ Floral stencil to add some texture to the table. It’s subtle but really gorgeous!

I also really love the little stamps in the Bad & Boujee stamp set so I wanted to use them. I decided to add them as canvas art on the wall. It was perfect for this as decor in this house.

To finish off this card, I used the sentiment from the Vibrant Blooms stamp set. I just adore how this turned out!

Thanks for joining me here today and hope you enjoyed the inspiration. Your next stop is over at Karen‘s blog! Remember to leave a comment for a chance to win!

No Line Coloring – Friendly Bunch

Hi everyone! I’m here to share a card I created using The Stamp Market’s stamp set named, Friendly Bunch.

I met Amy, the owner of The Stamp Market, when I visited her booth at Creativation and she was so sweet. When she spoke about her products, you could tell she was so passionate and genuine. I really was inspired to go home and ink up one of her stamp sets… so I did.

I also met Fleurette, owner at Inkon3, at Creativation and wanted to practice some no-line coloring using her Fadeout Ink.

It took a bit of time to color since this stamp image is pretty large as it takes up most of an A2 panel, but I was really proud of myself once completed. Generally, it’s a very simple card since the floral image makes up for the entire card. The sentiment in the set is also really large, so it took up the empty space on the bottom. To add a little different interest to it, I stamped the smaller portion of the sentiment on black cardstock, and heat embossing using white embossing powder.

I love how this card came together. If you love no-line coloring, you really need to check out this ink… and if you love florals, you really should check out this stamp set. Combined, it makes one gorgeous card.

Thanks for stopping by! Come back soon!
