Puppy Love

Happy Monday everyone! To start off the week, I’m sharing three cards created using the die set from i-Crafter called Puppy Love.

All my supplies for creating this card will be listed down below (with multiple sources when available) for your curiosity and convenience. Affiliate links used when possible.

These cards were super easy peasy! I die cut the three doggies from the stamped images from the die set Puppy Love and then colored them up using copic markers. I decided because of their size that they had to be their own star of the show so I wanted to use one for each card. For the background, I did quick ink blending using Honey Bee Stamps Whimsical Hearts stencil with Speckled Egg and Kitsch Flamingo.

For my first card, I used the sentiment from the Happy Birthday Wiper Insert and added some of the die accessories for the dog. It looks like he’s eyeing that bone doesn’t he?

For this second card, I thought it was so cute that he looked like he was walking, so I used the Thanks from the Pop Up Wiper Insert and placed it in parallel to the doggie.

Lastly, for my final card. I used the corgi who is probably my favorite. He looks so happy! I used the large Hello from Hello Flower right at his feet.

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Crafting!

Rainbow Flowers

Welcome to the weekend crafty friends! Today, I’m sharing a card featuring the Ellen Hutson‘s new release stamp sets named, Pressing Thoughts. It’s a very simple floral set but perfect for lots of occasions. I shared a previous card that used the large floral as the main feature on the card (blog post for that card here).

Today, I decided to use the stamp set in another way and used the smaller florals images. I stamped a bunch of the smaller images from the Ellen Hutson’s Pressing Thoughts stamp set using Versamark ink along with Hero Arts’ White Embossing powder. I also used the corresponding dies to cut them out and then colored them up using a variety of distress inks.

All my supplies for creating this card will be listed down below (with multiple sources when available) for your curiosity and convenience. Affiliate links used when possible.

For the background, I chose to use a piece of white cardstock and cut out a circle using Hero Arts’ Infinity Circles. Using the circle cut out, I arranged the floral images to create a rainbow wreath. I used the same distress inks to ink up a strip of all the colors and trimmed it down to a quarter of an inch and placed in on the top and the bottom of the card.

I placed the rainbow wreath on top of black cardstock and stamped the sentiment in the middle of the circle. I also decided to add a few of the Trinity Stamps’ Soapy Bubbles embellishments.

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Crafting!

Doodle Gardens – Slimline to Two A2 Cards

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with Trinity Stamps sharing a card using the Slimline stamp called Doodle Gardens along with the Scripty Thanks. I’m a sucker for florals and this one is adorable, perfect for spring and summer.

Although the slimline stamps are the perfect size for slimline cards, you can still use them for A2 cards. I decided to create art panels using the Doodle Gardens stamp set by stamping it on white cardstock. I went ahead and colored all the same flowers, the same colors so it would go pretty quickly. Once I colored everything in, I decided that adding black to the background really makes it all the different flowers pop!

Now the scary part… I wanted to use this slimline panel to create two cards, so that meant I had to cut this panel into half. Each half of the panel will be used for one A2 sized card, so I’ll get two finished cards. For each of the half panels, I trimmed them down to 4 equal panels and trimmed an 1/8 inch off so I would be able to allow spacing between them.

I pulled out two pieces of cardstock, different shades of grey and placed them in the middle of the card. Using the Scripty Thanks die, I used white cardstock to cut the letters out, placing the “Thank” on top and “You” on bottom of the colored panels.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create. Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!

Pressing Thoughts

Happy Friday everyone! TGIF! I’m sharing a card featuring one of Ellen Hutson‘s new release stamp sets named, Pressing Thoughts. It’s a very simple floral set but perfect for lots of occasions.

All my supplies for creating this card will be listed down below (with multiple sources when available) for your curiosity and convenience. Affiliate links used when possible.

I stamped images from the Ellen Hutson’s Pressing Thoughts stamp set using Ink on 3’s Fadeout ink. Then I colored them up using copic markers. Using the corresponding dies, I cut this out and set it aside.

For the background, I used wanted to tie in the same purple colors so I die cut some stripes of white cardstock using Mama Elephant’s Quick Stripes and used the same copic markers to color them up. I decided I wanted some contrast so I cut down a strip of kraft cardstock and added some dimension by added distress inks around the corners in Walnut Stain. For the sentiment, I stamped it directly on the kraft cardstock and one of the purple strips.

To finish off this card, I added a couple of embellishments from Trinity Stamps called Midnight Ball that filled up the space on the kraft cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Crafting!

Congrats – Eclipse Card

Hi everyone! Today, I’m sharing two quick cards I created for my little cousin’s graduation (one from high school and one from middle school) featuring various crafty items in my stash. I love mixing and matching sets to achieve the look you want. Plus there’s a SALE currently for Trinity (the ballon layer stencil is from them) — see below for SALE code.

All my supplies for creating this card will be listed down below (with multiple sources when available) for your curiosity and convenience. Affiliate links used when possible.

I used the Trinity Stamps’ Slimline Layered Balloons stencil for my main background. It’s a freaking amazing stencil that I haven’t pulled out enough! There’s two layers to this stencil along with the masks, which have the etchings so it’s really easy to line up! I used a variety of Ink on 3’s Atelier Inks and used two colors to blend for each balloon, leaving some white space to create a highlight. Next, I took the Altenew Bold Alphabet dies to cut through the main panel I just created. It’s scary but I wanted a subtle sentiment that didn’t take too much away from the amazing background I just created.

To add a little bit more to these two cards, I grabbed the Pretty Pink Posh Congrats Grad stamp set and stamped the grad cap along with the diploma using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Then I colored them up using copic markers. Finishing off the card, I found some star glitter and carefully glued them to fill up the white space. Aren’t these such bright and vibrant cards?!

Die Cut Tropical Card

Happy Friday-eve! Today, I’m sharing a card featuring a bunch of Erin Lee Creative products, which ended up with an unintentional tropical card.

All my supplies for creating this card will be listed down below (with multiple sources when available) for your curiosity and convenience. Affiliate links used when possible.

I went into this card because I had just learned that you could use alcohol inks on Erin Lee Creative’s Glossy White cardstock so I just wanted to play around to see how it would turn out. I wanted to keep it pretty simple so I just used Pool alcohol ink with some Gold Mixative along with the Blender for a very simple alcohol mix. It does move a little differently compared to Yupo paper but it works really well. I used that panel to cut out the main sentiment using the Jumbo Hi die. It’s generally pretty subtle but I thought it was really pretty, adding something special to the sentiment since there’s a good amount of space for the texture on this sentiment.

For the rest of the card, I used three of the dies from the Birdhouse Builder die set. Using copic markers, I added color onto it because I wanted the texture on them. Of course, you could just easily cut them out using different colored cardstock but I had my markers out so I figured why not. I placed the sentiments and the die cuts on a piece of A2 Glossy Black cardstock. Oh my! This is so fun to play with because it’s so dark and made my sentiment and florals REALLY pop.

To finish off this card, I used a few embellishments from Trinity Stamps (which are no longer in the shop, but you can use any ones you have in your stash) to fill up the empty space and I love the final product.

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Crafting!

Lift Me Up – No Coloring!

Happy mid-week everyone! I’m up on the ScrapbookPal’s YouTube channel sharing a card using Hero Arts’ Lift Me Up stamp set. And guess what? There’s no coloring today!

[INSERT VIDEO]

All my supplies for creating this card will be listed down below (with multiple sources when available) for your curiosity and convenience. Affiliate links used when possible.

I stamped images from the Hero Arts’ Lift Me Up stamp set using Versafine Onyx Black ink and then I poured on clear embossing powder. I’ll be using the ink resist technique and ink blend on top while maintaining the black stamping of the images.

To spice it up a bit, I wanted to do a bit of color blocking and masking. I’m using Gina K’s Masking Magic Sheets to help me mask off a one inch area so I can ink it up. For the inking, I chose rainbow colors (Fired Brick, Wild Honey, Fossilized Amber, Peeled Paint, Speckled Egg, Seedless Preserves) but in a more muted tone.

To finish off the card, I stamped the sentiment on a piece of white cardstock and trimmed it down. I also matted my card panel on a piece of black cardstock.

All my supplies for creating this card will be listed down below (with multiple sources when available) for your curiosity and convenience. Affiliate links used when possible.

For my card today, I wanted to play with Gerda Steiner Designs’ On the Table and Lovely Pandas stamp sets along with Heffy Doodle’s Hello Squeakheart stamp set and Pop Up Slider Die set to create one cohesive, interactive scene. I stamped images from One the Table and Hello Squeakheart using Memento Tuxedo ink. Then I colored them up using a bunch of copic markers, but you can use any medium you’d like.

For the background, I wanted to create a birthday scene so I used the balloons from Lovely Pandas. Using Eclipse Masking paper, I stamped out 6 balloons on a piece of cardstock a bit bigger than A2 size since I’ll be using the Pop Up Slider Die to cut my main card base with it. I masked off all the balloons and used Speckled Egg distress ink to add ink to the background quickly. To add a bit of interest, I mixed some Perfect Pearls and Gold Perfect Pearls to add splatter. I also decided to use pattern paper to create a table for my scene.

For the details of the interactive portion of the card, the details are in the video above, but this is one of the most simple interactive cards (in my opinion) to create. Sure, you can make it without the dies (which I have done before) but these do make it really easy and precise.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you got some inspiration to create! Happy Crafting!

Oh, and remember to stop by each blog post to leave a message for a chance to win!

Rosy Days – Foiled Background

Welcome to the weekend crafty friends! Today, I’m sharing a card featuring a Therm O Web Deco Foil Toner Card Fronts by Unity called Rosy Days. I’ve been pretty obsessed with using them for cards because they have such fun designs. Today’s card is no different!

All my supplies for creating this card will be listed down below (with multiple sources when available) for your curiosity and convenience. Affiliate links used when possible.

For this Rosy Days card front, I actually took my copic markers and colored in the florals before I took it to be foiled. The paper is a bit smoother so the markers don’t blend completely and I think that gives it a unique look. Once I finished coloring this, I used my Minc machine and Deco Foil Transfer Sheets in Gold to foil the background. It’s so subtle here but I love how it looks.

For the sentiment, I pulled out the Simon Says Stamp Just Because Word Mix 2, Lucky To Know You stamp set using Memento Tuxedo ink. Then I die cut them using the coordinating dies. I took a strip of black and added some twine to add to the sentiment, and added the “A Little Note” sentiment on top to finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Crafting!

Monotone Floral with Colorful Background

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with Ink on 3’s stamp set named Here for You stamp set. This is one of three floral stamp sets that recently released from Ink on 3 and I think it’s the most intimidating one because of all the layers and details.

All my supplies for creating this card will be listed down below (with multiple sources when available) for your curiosity and convenience. Affiliate links used when possible.

For today’s card, I decided to color in the floral from the Here for You stamp set in some cool gray markers (C7, C5, C3, C1).
To create the background, I used Ink on 3’s Atelier Inks in Marilyn Red, Marigold Orange, Bee Sting Yellow, Goddess Green, Peacock Blue and My Jam Purple to create a simple watercolor background. I wet my Canson XL watercolor paper in the areas I wanted to add watercolors and then dropped the colors in rainbow order into the rectangular area.

For the sentiments, I stamped two sentiments from the Here for You stamp set using Juicy Ink and added Artic White embossing powder and heat set it. Once my panel was ready, I popped it up on foam tape on top of a piece of black cardstock.

To finish off the card, I added some Trinity Stamps Gold baubles to the panel and I think it really pulled the card together.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create. Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!

Die Cut Card with Leftover Scraps

Happy Friday-eve! Today, I’m sharing a card I created using some leftover scraps from a previous project. In that project, I had used Mama Elephant Quick Stripes dies to cut out a bunch of colorful stripes. Of course, I had a bunch of them leftover so I decided to use it to create a quick die cut card with an i-Crafter Box Pops Flowers die.

All my supplies for creating this card will be listed down below (with multiple sources when available) for your curiosity and convenience. Affiliate links used when possible.

I used the flower die in this set along with the solid coordinating die from the i-Crafter Box Pops Flowers set, cutting the flower out of white cardstock and the solid die out of black cardstock. I trimmed down the white flower outline removing the stem so it would be a standalone floral.

Using Hero Arts Precision Glue, I just added the leftover stripes from the Quick Stripes set to an A2 card white card panel in varying lengths allowing a nice pop of color for the background concentrated on the left hand side. I took the Thanks sentiment from the i-Crafter’s Pop Up Wiper Insert and added it as the sentiment. I took the florals I put together from the i-Crafter Box Pops Flowers set and decorated them on top of the stripes.

Isn’t it such a fun card? You can use any dies in your craft stash to create this easy card! Thanks for stopping by! Happy Crafting!

First Bloom for Mom

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with Trinity Stamps sharing a card using one of the newer floral sets called First Bloom. Since Mother’s Day is coming up, I thought it was the perfect time to share this card.

To create this card, I stamped out four of the main flower bunch. This is actually a really easy flower to quickly color up. I used the same copic markers throughout (B99, B97, B95, B93, B91) to keep a monotone vibe.

Once I finished coloring up the florals, I arrange them all on an A2 card base. It does mean trimming off some of the florals but I was ok with it. I wanted to create an artsy look with a center focus. For that center area, I thought I would focus my sentiment on “Mom” so I pulled out my Marshmallow Alphabet dies. To really make the letters pop, I wanted to use a strip of vellum across the middle.

The vellum just really helps with the focus on the letters since the florals are a showstopper.

I just love how florals make an easy card for a mom or a loved one. They just bring such elegance!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create. Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!
